Why the Black Diamond?

At Iz&Co. we work with any and all gems: black diamonds, salt & pepper diamonds, colorless diamonds, morganites, rubies, etc. However, our use of the finest hand-selected black diamonds is what mainly distinguishes us from other jewelers. It allows us to offer potential clients an alternative option versus what is traditionally available to the masses.

Even if they have the same weight, all black diamonds are always unique and have their own measurements and characteristics. They come in three different qualities: A, AA, and AAA, the latter being the most coveted and considered the “higher-end” option. That is the only black diamond grade we work with! With a strong background in gemology and extensive years of experience, we hand-select every black diamond we use in our jewelry.

Balancing being badass and classic all at the same time, one of our favorite creative choices to make when it comes to our jewelry is that of combining both black and colorless diamonds together, though the former takes the center spotlight. We’ve found them to be the perfect opposite of the more traditional colorless diamond. We love that it offers our clients an alternative to its more conventional counterpart. It easily becomes the center of attention and beautifully exudes a mystical, unique, and romantic vibe that will set you apart.
